Make this Spring break a Creative One

Looking to do something creative and meaningful this Spring? Whether you’re exploring design for the first time, hoping to begin a portfolio, or simply want a hands-on experience outside the classroom, our short programs are built to inspire and develop practical skills. Guided by industry professionals in a welcoming studio setting, these workshops are open to all skill levels. No prior experience needed.

Build Your First Website (WordPress)

Participants will learn how websites work, explore basic design principles, and discover how to organize text and images to create a simple, visually appealing website. No prior experience is required

Sketch It Out (Drawing & Sketching)

This relaxed and creative workshop introduces students to sketching as a fun and expressive way to share ideas. Through guided exercises and observation-based activities, students will build confidence, explore their creativity, and develop basic drawing and illustration skills.

Design Your Dream Space (Interior Design)

Led by the PDA Fashion Design Department Head, Students will experiment with colour, furniture, and layout while learning how interior designers transform ideas into functional, real-world spaces. No prior experience is needed, just imagination and a love for creativity.

Create Like A Pro: Phone Photography For Social Media

This fun, hands-on 5-hour workshop teaches students how to capture eye-catching photos using only their smartphone. Students will explore lighting, composition, and angles while learning how to create strong, scroll-stopping images for social media.

Become An Actor (Performance & Stage Skills

In a supportive and fun environment, students will explore what it’s like to perform on stage while building confidence, creativity, and self-expression. No acting experience is required, just a willingness to try something new.

Introduction to Hand Embroidery: Stitch, Texture & Creativity

This hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop introduces students to the art of hand embroidery. Participants will learn essential stitches, explore texture and pattern, and create their own embroidered piece to take home.

Paint, Play & Experiment (Drawing & Painting)

This relaxed and creative painting workshop focuses on self-expression, exploration, and enjoyment. Students will experiment with colour, paint, and texture in a supportive, no-pressure environment that encourages creativity over perfection. No prior experience is needed.

Make A Movie (Filming: Lights, Camera, Action)

This immersive 5-hour workshop invites Grade 9–11 students to dive into the world of filmmaking by creating a short movie in a single day. Working in small teams, students will plan, film, and watch their own video while learning how movies are made behind the scenes. No prior experience is needed

Make It: Fashion Sewing

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces students to sewing in a safe, hands-on way. Students learn to use a sewing machine and create a tote bag to take home.

AI & Design

This workshop introduces students to how AI is used in creative design in an age-appropriate way. Students explore AI as a tool for ideas and inspiration, not as a replacement for creativity.
