Students will learn essential garment construction techniques, as well as foundational pattern drafting skills. By the end of the course each student will have completed a sample book of sewing techniques, and basic pattern blocks in their size (skirt and bodice). If time permits, students may also have the opportunity to work on a project of their choice, based on their pattern blocks.
This course is ideal for beginners aiming to build a solid foundation in garment construction or for hobbyists seeking to enhance their sewing proficiency. By the end of the workshop, students will have developed the confidence and skills necessary to undertake personal sewing projects or further their education in fashion design.
