Turn your design ideas into professionally developed residential spaces with Pacific Design Academy's Online Residential Interior Design and Technology diploma program.
Over 45 weeks, you will build advanced digital, creative, and technical skills through hands-on project-based learning and mentorship from industry professionals.
The curriculum emphasizes real-world design projects. Students learn spatial planning, construction fundamentals, and advanced 2D and 3D visualization.
Throughout the program, students learn to transform conceptual ideas into functional living spaces using industry-standard digital tools. Delivered online, the program offers a creative community, mentorship from practicing design professionals, peer collaboration, and flexibility.

Apply interior design principles and elements to create functional, visually balanced residential spaces.
Assess unique client needs by balancing social, cultural, aesthetic, demographic, and global influences.
Develop comprehensive space planning solutions specifically for residential environments, kitchens, and bathrooms.
Produce floor plans, elevations, specifications, and construction drawings using digital tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Interpret residential building systems, construction methods, and local building codes.
Select finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and materials that directly support design objectives and client needs.
Prepare professional design proposals, contracts, and technical documentation to define project scopes and implement a solution.
Communicate design concepts and professional services to clients, colleagues, and technicians through a comprehensive portfolio.
