While creativity is often considered to be a skill for artists, marketers, and designers, creativity is important in all fields. No matter what you’re focusing on, you’ll need to explore your creative side, brainstorm ideas, and look at the world in a new way to solve the issues that affect us all.

Having some Adobe Photoshop chops will expand your creative opportunities 10-fold, while still offering a streamlined social media posting process.
Yes, templates and image-editing is also available using Canva, Adobe Express, GIMP etc. We will leverage Adobe Express for social media assembly. Using various tools to work with visuals, you’ll learn to create, plan, preview your content, and schedule posts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

Fees: $595.00 plus $25 nonrefundable registration fee, taxes included.
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program.
Week 1 Class 1: Class introductions
Part 1 ~ Introduction to Adobe Express and responsive web pages. Using Adobe Express we will strategize & design a wireframe “map” for your online portfolio showcasing your reusable, responsive design elements.
Part 2 ~ Introduction to Photoshop, social media sizes, file formats and image compression.
Week 2 Class 1: Photoshop Tools overview and navigating the software.We will explore resolution and compression concepts for web graphics:
Week 2 Class 2: We explore Photoshop layers / blending modes / non-destructive approaches / avenues of escape.
Lets’s create a web header banner.
Week 3 Class 1: Let’s explore Photoshop masks / channels / selections.
