Pacific Design Academy Welcomes Ramsey Fendall as Department Head
Pacific Design Academy (PDA) is excited to announce that acclaimed cinematographer, director, and producer Ramsey Fendall will be serving as Department Head of the Motion Picture Production Program this academic year.
Ramsey brings nearly two decades of professional experience, from working in New York City with Room 5 Films to co-founding Victoria-based Sublunar Films. His impressive credits include collaborations with Ethan Hawke (Seymour: An Introduction), the award-nominated short and feature Lucid, and festival selections at TIFF, SXSW, and Fantasia.
Students at PDA will be fortunate to learn directly from Ramsey’s breadth of expertise — not only behind the camera as a cinematographer and director, but also as an editor and educator. He has previously taught at NYU and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ramsey as Department Head,” said Isabel Yu, Director of PDA. “His professional achievements and creative vision will offer our students an invaluable learning experience.”
The Motion Picture Production program continues to provide hands-on training in filmmaking, preparing graduates for careers in the film and media industry.
