Introduction to Interior Design at Pacific Design Academy

Colour, texture, and form are elements that combine in every space to create an environment that reflects who we are.

By careful planning and selection an Interior Designer can help their clients optimize their budget by developing space plans, selecting the appropriate scale furnishings and accessories while maintaining colour schemes that work.

Course Overview
This 12 session course includes the fundamentals of; furniture styles, textiles, principles of design, color theory, creating space plans and developing presentation skills. PDA encourages creativity by providing a positive environment open to questions and personal growth through mentoring and guidance, along with structured classes.

This course has been developed to aid the individual to develop confidence when presenting to client(s) and will culminate in a final presentation of a client project to their peers. This course can be the introduction to further educational goals or an excellent learning tool for anyone interested in design.

Course Length: 6 weeks long, 36 hours instructional time.

Course Dates: Next classes begin April 24th, 2017.

Time: 5:30-8:30pm. Days: Twice a week – Mondays & Wednesdays..

Fee: $495.00
