If you wish to design, there's no better quality career training than at the Pacific Design Academy. Our programs expand your ability to think and design creatively. We help foster your skills in drawing, drafting and illustration, and develop your competency in the use of market relevant software. However, at heart it's not about tools or media, it's about design.
The Pacific Design Academy was founded in 1991, to provide quality education in the 'design arts'. From our earliest program offerings in Interior Design, the Academy has grown to become the pre-eminent private design school in Victoria.
Our classes are led by practicing professional designers, which ensures our curriculum is appropriate to the needs of the design marketplace.
The Pacific Design Academy is a Designated college with the Private Training Institutions Branch of the BC Ministry of Advanced Education. Pacific Design Academy has authority to grant diplomas for all full time programs listed on this website.
The Academy's instructors are working professionals who bring current, up-to-date ideas into the classroom. Our classrooms and studios are bright and well equipped. The software we teach is relevant to real-world needs with Mac computers, which are the design industry standard. Our limited class size ensures you get the individual attention you need to successfully master new skills.
Because of our quality approach to design training, our graduates emerge with highly marketable skills. We believe the skills that you learn at Pacific Design Academy are not just the 'frosting' on your education but are the beginning of your career horizons. The skills you learn here will last you a lifetime.
We take pride in our teaching environment where small classes and individual attention are the norm.
